Dr. Zuhair Khan is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and a board-certified physiatrist with advanced fellowship training in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine. He is dedicated to helping patients return to the activities that give their lives meaning by combining evidence-based treatments with compassionate, individualized care.
His practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of spine- and joint-related pain. He takes pride in listening carefully to patients, identifying the true source of their symptoms, and developing comprehensive treatment plans. His integrative approach not only addresses the immediate cause of pain but also the biomechanical and physiological factors that contribute to it.

He frequently incorporates physical therapy, acupuncture, and lifestyle strategies to deliver goal-oriented care tailored to each patient.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Union College and his medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NYU Langone's Rusk Rehabilitation, where he contributed extensively to medical education in anatomy and musculoskeletal medicine. During residency, he also trained in acupuncture at SUNY Downstate and became a licensed acupuncturist. Dr. Khan then completed fellowship training in Interventional Spine at Emory University.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Khan values connecting with patients across cultures and is fluent in Urdu and Hindi. He is an active member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR) and the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS).
