
Dr. Yang received her bachelor of science degree and master of arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and M.D./Ph.D. from Harvard Medical School. After which, she became a clinical pathology resident and pathology fellow at Columbia University Medical Center. She is boarded in Clinical Pathology. She also served as a visiting fellow at Rockefeller University.
At Cornell, Dr. Yang's will be developing a genetics program for obstetrics and gynecology pathology in concert with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She will be involved in the germline genetics effort at WCM/NYP. Her secondary responsibilities will be in the practice and administration of the clinical laboratory testing performed in the central laboratory where she will professionally sign out serum protein electrophoresis (SPEPs).
