Dr. Xin Yu Wang is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is both board-certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. He earned his MD from Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University (formerly Stony Brook University School of Medicine) and received his clinical residency in Internal Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey.

Prior to joining faculty at Weill Cornell, Dr. Wang was an internist and hospitalist working at various hospitals within New York State ranging from large academic centers to rural hospitals serving all populations from diverse cultural backgrounds. He is a strong advocate of strong training in evidence-based medicine and practice value-based health care. His current clinical interests including Sleep Medicine, Metabolic Health and Obesity Medicine, Mind-Body Medicine, systemic syndromes including Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), Post-Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome (PTLDS), Alpha-gal syndrome (AGS), Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth. He also practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia for patients suffering from chronic insomnia
