
Dr. Tom Lin is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician at New York-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens and serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. He specializes in the non-operative management of musculoskeletal injuries affecting the spine, peripheral joints, muscles and tendons.
. He is committed to helping patients restore function and improve quality of life through personalized evidence-based care. His philosophy for patient care focuses first on a conservative approach with the goal of continuing a healthy and active lifestyle. When indicated, Dr. Lin offers image-guided interventions using fluoroscopy and ultrasound of the spine and musculoskeletal system as adjunct treatments to facilitate recovery.
Dr. Lin earned his medical degree from the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and graduated summa cum laude from New York University. He completed his PM&R residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School/Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, where he served as chief resident. He further advanced his expertise through a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania under the training of Dr. Adrian Popescu, an International Pain and Spine Intervention Society Instructor.
In his free time, Dr. Lin enjoys exploring Queens, discovering new places to eat, and staying active through exercise and sports - currently bouldering, pickleball, and golf.
