Dr. Stanislas Monfront, MD is a NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens Obstetrics & Gynecologist, bringing advanced expertise in female pelvic surgery and comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care. He recently completed a fellowship in Advanced Pelvic Surgery at Northwell South Shore University Hospital, where he specialized in minimally invasive techniques including robotic-assisted surgery, laparoscopy, and vaginal procedures.
Dr. Monfront completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was recognized as Consultant of the Year by the Emergency Medicine Department in 2022. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and holds a dual undergraduate degree in Biology and Art History from Williams College.
His clinical interests include gynecologic oncology, peri-operative care, and innovative surgical techniques. He has been honored with multiple awards, including the Dr. Economos Gynecologic Oncology Award and the Society of Gynecologic Oncology Award. He is also a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and has served as Chair of its Selection Committee at NYMC.
Dr. Monfront is fluent in English and French and is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
