
Dr. Shuo Huang, MD is a vascular surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens and a Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. She completed her fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, where she also completed her general surgery residency and served as chief resident. She earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, where she also completed a master's in pharmacology, following a bachelor's in biology from UCLA.
Dr. Huang's clinical interests include complex vascular interventions and addressing racial disparities in vascular outcomes. Her research has explored topics such as the role of vascular surgery in placenta accreta syndrome and outcomes in abdominal aortic aneurysm repair. She has presented regionally and internationally, including at the New York Society for Vascular Surgery and the Clinical Robotic Surgery Association WorldWide Congress.
She is the author of peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, including contributions to The Laryngoscope and Advances in Vascular Surgery.
A member of multiple professional societies—including the Society for Vascular Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the Association of Women Surgeons—Dr. Huang combines clinical excellence with a commitment to equity and innovation in surgical care.
