Dr. Shawn Krishnan works as an academic hospitalist who joined the division of Hospital Medicine at Weill Cornell in 2025. After obtaining his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University, he obtained his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his residency training in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of California San Diego (UCSD). At Cornell, he will be working in both the Internal Medicine and Pediatrics departments. He is passionate about easing the transition process to adult care for complex pediatric patients. He is also interested in improving medical education, quality improvement initiatives for healthcare operations, and working to make healthcare more equitable for his patients.
