Samantha Salem, MD

Dr. Salem's areas of interest include clinical research and advocacy in the study of suicide and trauma informed care for children, youth, and families. She has a specific interest in global health and implementation of systems of care using a strength based cultural and trauma informed model. She is currently part of the Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy Learning Collaborative helping deliver evidence based treatment to children and youth with symptoms of traumatic stress. In her free time, Dr. Salem enjoys scuba diving and playing the violin, but not simultaneously.
