Robert G. Marx, MD

Dr. Robert Marx is an Attending Orthopedic Surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery specializing in knee and shoulder surgery. He is vice chair of orthopedic surgery for faculty development at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He is also an Orthopedic Consultant for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and for the second opinion program for the National Hockey League (NHL), and provides care to athletes of both organizations.Dr. Marx is Deputy Editor for Sports Medicine for the Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery. He has published over 200 peer reviewed articles and 5 books, including three on ACL injury and surgery. Dr. Marx has been voted as one of the “Best Doctors in New York” by New York Magazine for the past several years.
