Pyone Maung, MD

Dr. Pyone Maung received her medical degree from The Institute of Medicine in Mandalay, Burma in 1982. She completed her fellowship in Tropical Medicine at Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand in 1988. She then went on and completed another fellowship and residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn in 1998. She has been a member of the Royal College of Physicians since 1993.Prior to joining Weill Cornell Medical College in 2014, Dr. Maung was affiliated with Brooklyn Hospital Center and Long Island College Hospital. She was also a member of a private practice in Brooklyn.
