
Dr. Pilar Dies Suárez is a diagnostic radiologist with subspecialty expertise in pediatric imaging. She is an assistant professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. Dr. Dies Suárez works with pediatricians and pediatric specialists to provide a full range of diagnostic imaging services attuned to the needs of children. Dr. Dies Suárez previously led the pediatric radiology department at Federico Gómez Children's Hospital in Mexico City. Her research is focused on advanced MR imaging techniques in children with ADHD and childhood obesity. She received her medical training at La Salle University in Mexico City, followed by specialty training in radiology and magnetic resonance imaging at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Dr. Dies Suárez is the former president of the Latin American Society of Radiology.
