
Dr. Nikhita Balabbigari is a board-certified physician specializing in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. She is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and believes in involving patients in every step of the decision-making process. She earned her medical degree from the American University of Antigua. Dr. Balabbigari completed her residency in internal medicine at Overlook Medical Center in New Jersey, followed by a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She then pursued additional specialized training with a sleep medicine fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Her clinical interests include a wide range of pulmonary diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and interstitial lung disease (ILD), as well as sleep-disordered breathing and hypersomnias. Outside of medicine, she is an avid long distance runner, enjoys traveling, and experiencing new cultures in different parts of the world.
