Nicole Edris Tchalim, MD, is a reproductive psychiatrist at Columbia's Women's and Reproductive Mental Health (WARM) program. Dr. Tchalim provides comprehensive and compassionate care for women and birthing individuals across their lifespans, addressing mental health challenges and needs related to reproductive and gender-linked transition. Having completed her psychiatric residency and a women's mental health fellowship at Columbia, Dr. Tchalim has expertise in both psychopharmacologic and psychotherapy-based treatments. In addition to her clinical roles at Columbia, Dr. Tchalim is also heavily involved in education, providing supervision and teaching to medical trainees, and currently serves as the director of the Columbia WARM fellowship. Dr. Tchalim is also the founder of the June Jackson Christmas Fourth Year Medical Student elective, which supports students from underrepresented backgrounds in medicine in receiving training and experience within community and inpatient psychiatric settings at Columbia.
