iconAbout Linn Katus, DO, MSc

Dr. Linn E. Katus is an Assistant Professor of Neurology in the Divisions of Movement Disorders and Child Neurology, and she is affiliated with the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center. She provides care for both pediatric and adult patients with a wide range of movement disorders, including tics and Tourette syndrome, cerebral palsy, parkinsonism and Parkinson's disease, ataxia, dystonia, chorea, functional movement disorders, and tremor. Dr. Katus is passionate about building strong, collaborative relationships with her patients and families, believing that partnership is central to effective and compassionate care.

Dr. Katus earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internship at the University of Cincinnati and her neurology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She then pursued fellowship training in movement disorders at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she had the opportunity to work closely with both pediatric and adult specialists.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Katus is actively engaged in medical education. She regularly teaches and mentors students and trainees in her clinic, delivers didactic sessions to medical students and residents, and presents webinars for health care professionals. Since 2020, Dr. Katus has organized and led a pediatric movement disorders conference that brings together specialists from around the world. She also contributes to clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives focused on movement disorders.
