Dr. Leah K. Pacarro is a physical therapist and Instructor in Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine practicing at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with an advanced orthopedic track distinction from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Athletic Training from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Dr. Pacarro is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and holds certification in Pelvic Function from the Herman and Wallace Institute. Her professional interests focus on orthopedic physical therapy, neuromuscular re-education, pelvic health, and rehabilitation in sports and active populations. She has an interest in adaptive sports and promoting inclusive care for patients with intellectual and physical disabilities. In addition, she serves as a Teaching Practicum Leader for Orthopedics and Anatomy courses in Columbia's Doctor of Physical Therapy program and is a member of the Columbia DPT Executive Board and Social Justice Coalition. She was recently honored with Distinguished Honors recognition for her academic achievement and leadership in the Columbia University DPT program.
