Kristina A. Rankine, MD is an Assistant Professor of Neurology in the Division of Critical Care and Hospitalist Neurology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Rankine's areas of expertise include acute neurological emergencies, stroke, epilepsy, migraines, and a particular focus on caring for patients with sickle cell disease and other vasculopathies that increase stroke risk.

Dr. Rankine earned her medical degree from the Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University, then completed neurology residency at Washington University School of Medicine, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident. She went on to complete a fellowship in Vascular Neurology at the same institution.

She is board-certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, and the American Medical Association.
