Jayasree Nair, M.B., B.S.

Dr. Jayasree Nair is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics in the Division of Neonatology (Newborn Medicine) at Weill Cornell Medicine and Director of the Regional Hospital Relations, Newborn Medicine. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and practices as Associate Attending Pediatrician at New York-PresbyterianHospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, as well as the NewYork-PresbyterianKomansky Children's Hospital. After medical training and pediatric residency in India, she completed her residency and neonatology fellowship at the University at Buffalo. Prior to joining Weill Cornell in 2023, Dr. Nair served as clinical associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University at Buffalo, where she also held the role of Program Director for the Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship attending Neonatologist at John R Oishei Children's Hospital.

Dr. Nair's research interests are in neonatal resuscitation and necrotizing enterocolitis and she has received grants from the American Academy of Pediatrics and NIH-NICHD. Besides English, she is fluent in Hindi and Malayalam.
