Jaya Batra, MD

Dr. Jaya Batra is an Assistant Professor of Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with advanced heart failure. Her practice includes patients requiring left ventricular assist devices and heart transplantation. She also attends as a cardiac intensivist. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology. Dr. Batra received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine and fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
