Jae S Cha, PsyD

Dr. Jae S. Cha is a clinical psychologist within the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and an Instructor of Clinical Psychology in Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center. His areas of interest include: childhood trauma and abuse, mental health and wellness for LGBTQ+ individuals, health psychology, and acculturative stress. Dr. Cha has extensive experience in working with individuals of all ages, racially and ethnically diverse, impoverished high-risk clinical populations. In addition to providing individual and group intervention, Dr. Cha is passionate about psychological evaluations to access and understand underlying pathology and its behavioral implications.
