Ines Sherifi, MD

Dr. Ines Sherifi received her Bachelor of Science degree from MIT with a major in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Biomedical Engineering. She then undertook her medical school studies at the University of Toronto where she also completed her Internal Medicine training. As part of her engineering and science training, she completed a master’s degree at the Université Paris Diderot in Paris, France. More recently, she completed her training in cardiovascular medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Her research interests have focused on advanced echocardiographic techniques such as speckle tracking and the application of big data analytical techniques to imaging and clinical parameters. She is very interested in new technological applications to cardiology and has worked on two mobile applications for use in clinical practice.
