Hong Van Nhu Tieu, MD, MS, is an Assistant Professor in Clinical Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Columbia University, as well as an Associate Member in the Laboratory of Infectious Disease Prevention at the New York Blood Center. During fellowship at Columbia University, she studied immunologic markers to predict and diagnose tuberculosis-associated immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome in HIV and TB co-infected adults in Thailand.
