Gopi Desai, M.D.

Gopi Desai, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and director of the Theresa Lang Children's Center and an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine. She specializes in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine. Dr. Desai has a special interest in childhood nutrition and pediatric obesity. She is passionate about serving the Queens community and demonstrates this through her community engagement and advocating for children and families. Dr. Desai graduated from the New York University School of Medicine and completed her pediatrics residency at Weill Cornell Medical Center. After her residency, Dr. Desai joined the faculty at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, where she practiced as a general pediatrician.
