Gabriella Safyer, M.D.

Dr. Safyer received her undergraduate degree in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality studies from Barnard College. She went on to earn her M.D. and MPH from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed her Adult Psychiatry Residency training at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. After residency, she pursued her interest in medical education by serving as an Assistant Program Director for the Adult Psychiatry Residency program at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. She also pursued her interest in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry by joining the consultation service at Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Safyer is now an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Attending Psychiatrist at Weill Cornell Medicine.
