

Dr. Ethan Andrew Mack is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Assistant Attending Surgeon at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. Dr. Ethan Mack was a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Transfusion Medicine and Therapeutic Pathology at the University of Pennsylvania, beginning in July 2024. He received his MD and PhD in Immunology from the University of Pennsylvania as part of the Medical Scientist Training Program.
Dr. Mack is a member of the American Society for Apheresis (ASFA), the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), and other professional societies. His research interests include granulopoiesis, neutrophil function, and sickle cell disease pathology, as well as eosinophil lineage commitment. Dr. Mack was awarded the Leonard Berwick Teaching Award from the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2024.
