Dr. Allen Kwong wis an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons and NewYork Presbyterian Hospital. He received his Doctor of Medicine at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Kwong is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and certified in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Kwong's professional interests include anesthesiology.Dr. Esther S. Han, MD, MPH is a board-certified OBGYN and fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon at New York Presbyterian – Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Han completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University and earned a master's degree in public health at The George Washington University before earning her medical degree from Boston University. Following her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, she completed an AAGL-accredited fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at New York Presbyterian – Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Han is active in the AAGL where she serves on the FMIGS Global Health Committee. She is also a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is passionate about improving access to minimally invasive gynecologic surgery both at home and abroad. She provides training in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in Guatemala and Tanzania and partners with national and international organizations focusing on sustainable capacity building in low resource settings. She participates actively in the training of fellows and residents as a faculty member and educator. Dr. Han specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including robotic surgery, advanced laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and the treatment of women with abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, and endometriosis.
