After completing my undergraduate degree, I spent two years working as a Client Services Associate at the Medicare Rights Center, a non-profit that works to ensure access to affordable health care for older adults and people with disabilities through counseling and advocacy. This experience shaped my understanding of how cognitive and physical deficits can impact one's ability to navigate a complex health care system. After medical school, I completed my residency in general psychiatry, and then completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry. Currently, I work at the NYPH Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic. We provide comprehensive treatment to adults with a range of psychiatric disorders. In this role, I work collaboratively alongside other psychiatrists, as well as psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, and case managers.
