Dr. Eleonora Francesca Spinazzi is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon specializing in cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery. She delivers expert, evidence-based care for patients with stroke, brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), and other complex neurovascular conditions. Her approach blends cutting-edge, minimally invasive techniques with personalized, compassionate care tailored to each patient's goals.

At Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Dr. Spinazzi provides advanced microsurgical and endovascular treatments for both emergent and elective neurovascular disorders. She is committed to offering the highest level of care across the full spectrum of cerebrovascular disease.

Dr. Spinazzi earned her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed her neurosurgery residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia. She then pursued a CAST-accredited fellowship in endovascular neurosurgery at the renowned Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona -- one of the top training programs in the field.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Spinazzi is a dedicated physician-scientist. Her research spans stroke care and neuromodulation, with a focus on developing new ways to restore brain and nerve function in patients whose conditions do not respond to conventional therapies.
