Dr. David Hirschl is a board-certified radiologist with specialization in vascular and interventional radiology. He is an assistant professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an assistant attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Hirschl practiced at Montefiore Medical Center for eight years prior to being recruited to Columbia.

Dr. Hirschl's clinical expertise encompasses a variety of minimally invasive procedures including the diagnosis and treatment of various malignancies, uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), venous access, and pulmonary embolism intervention.

Dr. Hirschl completed his medical school training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and his internship at Yale New Haven Hospital. His post-graduate training includes a diagnostic radiology residency and vascular-interventional radiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, New York. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and The American College of Radiology.
