Daniil Shimonov, MD

Daniil Shimonov, M.D. is a specialist in Nephrology and Hypertension in New York, NY at The Rogosin Institute. Dr. Shimonov practices at The Rogosin Institute as a nephrologist with a focus on advanced chronic kidney disease, home dialysis and polycystic kidney disease. His philosophy is to prevent progression of kidney disease and working together with patients to ensure their disease is controlled and transitions smoothly from advanced kidney disease to either kidney transplant or dialysis.

His research is dedicated to investigating how to better the lives of people with chronic kidney disease. One of his passions is teaching medical students, residents and fellows medicine and nephrology.
