Athena Amini, DNP

Athena Amini, DNP works at Department of Neurology, Division of Epilepsy. Dr. Amini collaborates in a multidisciplinary practice, managing and treating patients with seizures and other chronic neurological conditions. She earned her BSN, MSN, and her doctorate from Columbia University and is board-certified in Family Health by the ANCC, with advanced clinical training in neurology. Prior to her current role, she worked as a neuroscience NP at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She delivered direct care to patients with complex neurological conditions, including seizures, sleep disorders, headaches, vestibular disorders, ADHD, and autonomic dysfunctions. Dr. Amini sees patients at the Neurological Institute of New York and Columbia Doctors Midtown locations. She also offers telemedicine visits.
