

Dr. Ardi Knobel Nuevo Mendoza is an Instructor in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medicine Physician practicing at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a Master of Health Sciences in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His professional interests focus on global health, emergency medicine education, emergency care systems development, and surgical access in resource-limited settings. He has an interest in international emergency medicine collaboration, global health research, and curriculum development. Dr. Mendoza is board-eligible in Emergency Medicine through the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, American College of Emergency Physician, Emergency Medicine Resident' Association, Society for Academic Emergency and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
