
Dr. Anjan Saha is an Assistant in Clinical in the Department of Anesthesiology. He completed a residency and was a Apgar Scholar at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He received his M.D./Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from the University of Michigan through the Medical Scientist Training Program. Dr. Saha is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Society for Obstetric Anesthesiology and Perinatology, International Anesthesia Research Society, American Medical Association, New York State Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Physician Scientist Association. His professional interests focus on general and global anesthesiology, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), and expanding perioperative care in low-resource settings. He has an interest in building perioperative capacity globally and integrating digital technologies to advance health equity. He is board-eligible in Anesthesiology. In addition, he serves as an Apgar Scholar for the Department of Anesthesiology and is a member of the Residency Recruitment Committee at Columbia University. He was recently honored with the FAER Resident Scholar Award for his contributions to global anesthesiology and perioperative care innovation.
