

Dr. Andrew Baird is an Instructor in Medicine practicing at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Baird received his MD from Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences before completing his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He then pursued the Advanced Hospitalist Clinical Scholars Program at the University of Colorado, followed by General Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Utah. During his Fellowship, Dr. Baird was quickly drawn toward multimodality imaging as a powerful extension of clinical cardiology, with particular interest in the applicability of cardiac CT and MRI for disease diagnosis, risk stratification, as well as for therapeutic planning and response. Dr. Baird is a member of Heart Failure Society of America, Heart Rhythm Society, American Medical Association and American Heart Association. He is board-certified in American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
