Ana Sabournin, BSN, FNP-C

Ana Maria Sabournin, BSN, FNP-C is a Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Diseases at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Ana Maria studied medicine at the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences in her home country of Havana, Cuba. After completing her medical education with a Urology Specialist I Degree from the General Hospital in Matanzas, Cuba, she worked as pediatric urology specialist for several years at the Miguel Enriquez and Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospitals. In 2012, she came to the United States to work as a Case Manager Foreign Physician at Mount Sinai Hospital. Ana Maria subsequently earned both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner from the Ana G. Mendez University System in Miramar, FL. Since 2020, she has worked with neurological patients as a nurse practioner for Complete Neurological Care PC and for Medalliance Medical Health Services in the Bronx, NY.
