Dr. Soliman is an experienced board-certified anesthesiologist and a motivated leader. He has been leading the Department of Anesthesiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens since July 2019.

Dr. Soliman was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. He completed medical school at Cairo University, Kasr Al-Ainy School of Medicine. He completed his internship in General Surgery at Hospital of St. Raphael, an affliate of Yale University in New Haven, CT. He completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at The University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Medical Center and Ryder Trauma Center in Miami, FL.

Dr. Soliman has a long journey in Anesthesiology and has practiced in several states. He was part of several national corporates including Sheridan, Envision and TeamHealth for two decades. He also led the Department of Anesthesiology at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT for five and half years before arriving to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens.

Dr. Soliman earned his MBA from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN in 2018.

Dr. Soliman has a great passion for soccer and enjoys tennis, running and traveling.
